I'm not sure what happened during the assembly process, or why mine were so bent out of shape when I got them, but these skates were almost completely "unskateable" out of the box. My biggest issue was with the bushings that came installed with them. That's fine, they're a great price point, so so long as they hold together it's all good and I can't really complain too much. I've sewn microfiber materials before, and they can be a little sticky under the foot sometimes. One line of stitching up the heel almost looks like something got caught in the process, or maybe they sneezed, idk. This is my first time on 78a wheels though, so maybe that's normal? The stitching on the boots is kind of crooked and inconsistent, and it's more obvious around the edges where you can see the padding. I took these trail skating and sharper little pebbles have chewed up the wheels to no end. My wheels spin unevenly, but with weight, the bearings perform very well. It's been difficult to adjust the laces because of the stiffness, but it's gotten easier over time, and the eyelets are of good quality. I can say that even though the boot is stiff, the padding helps a lot, and the break in period has been nill, so long as I have them laced as I want them. I've now skated over 5 miles at least in these, and so I feel like this MIGHT be a fair review. Sure they're cute, but that's not what I really care about, and I feel like a lot of the money towards this skate goes towards cuteness over function. I've been a little nervous to post this, but here it goes. Violation of this rule may result in a warning and/or ban at mods' discretion.
